what's in play now updates every second during the session

what's in play now recalculates its live report readings every second, using one-second bars as ES, NQ and other futures trade. before this update, readings refreshed once a minute, when each minute bar closed.

when a minute finishes, the report locks in the official minute bar, so completed readings stay consistent with the historical data behind each probability.

only the cards whose values change get updated on screen. cards that haven't moved stay put, so the page is easier to read during fast markets.
