what it does
this indicator detects gaps at session open and tracks the 'spike' - the distance from open to the extreme high or low. boxes expand as price makes new highs (for gap ups) or new lows (for gap downs), visually showing how far price extends before potentially reversing to fill the gap.
spike labels display the dollar value of the move from open, providing immediate context on the magnitude of the gap move. triangle markers appear when the gap is filled, and a horizontal line shows the gap fill target level throughout the session.
