free live demo of the edgeful algos: what we're covering

we're hosting a free, live demo of the edgeful algos on Wednesday, September 16 at 4pm ET.
I'll be walking through the entire algo side of edgeful, start to finish, and then answering your questions live. if you've ever wondered whether the algos fit how you trade, this is the time to find out.

why we're doing this
the algos generate a ton of questions.
every week we get emails and DMs asking who they're for, how the setup works, what the optimizer actually does, whether a strategy can survive prop firm rules...
we answer every one of those individually. but I'd rather sit down once, walk you through all of it on screen, and let you ask me anything while I'm right there.
so that's what we're doing on the 16th. here's a general outline of what I'll be covering:
who algo trading is actually for
algo trading is not for everyone, and I'm going to be upfront about who gets the most out of it:
- traders who are emotional and can't follow the plans they set out for themselves (most of us)
- traders who can't sit at the desk all day, or want to win their time back
if either one of these sounds like you, it's worth your time to sign up for the live walkthrough (again, it's free).
the strategies we offer
edgeful has 7 automated trading algos built on 3 core strategies: the opening range breakout (ORB), the initial balance (IB), and engulfing candles.
each one trades differently:
- the ORB algos trade the break of the opening range. they have a higher win rate, with tighter profit targets and stop losses.
- the IB algos enter on a pullback after price breaks one side of the initial balance range. win rate is lower, but the winners are bigger.
- the engulfing algos trade momentum off engulfing candles, which is an intraday/scalping strategy.
on the demo I'll walk through each one: what it trades, how the variants differ (2 profit targets, breakeven stops), and how to think about which one fits your style.
real member results
I'll also share what members are actually doing with the algos.
and I'm going to be honest about the other side of it too. the work behind those results, the optimization and personal customization required, and more...
I'm not going to pretend everyone who turns on an algo makes money. some members do very well, some don't, and the difference usually comes down to the work they put in up front.
getting set up: templates
we now publish the top optimizer runs for each algo as templates, and they'll be a big part of the webinar.
each one shows you the equity curve and the stats behind it, and settings transfer to TradingView in one click.
I'll walk through the whole setup flow on screen, so you can see exactly how long it takes to go from sign up to implementation.
the optimizer
the optimizer tests up to 10 million setting combinations for the algo and ticker you pick, then validates the winners on data it never saw.
you've probably tweaked strategy parameters by hand in TradingView before, found a set that backtests well, and then watched it fall apart in real trading. that's the exact problem the optimizer was built to solve.
I'll show you how to run it, how to read the results, and how to avoid overfitting.
the prop firm sim
if you trade prop firm accounts, this is for you.
the prop firm sim tests a strategy against your firm's actual rules: drawdown, daily loss limit, profit target, consistency rules. there are 12 firm presets (Apex, Topstep, Tradeify, MyFundedFutures, and more), plus a custom builder if your firm isn't on the list.
the point: know how often your strategy would have passed before you ever pay for a challenge. eval fees add up fast. I'd rather you know the chances you're going to pass before you pay for another one.
