these presets match the session definitions used in the edgeful web app. use HH:MM:SS in API requests. endpoints with a single custom session require start_time, end_time, and timezone; the multi-session report families listed below apply their web-report defaults when session parameters are omitted.
Asian range breakout endpoints use the Asia preset for start_time and end_time. they do not take a timezone parameter; the range is interpreted in Asia/Tokyo. their candle_start_time and candle_end_time parameters are a separate daily candle window interpreted in America/New_York.

multi-session report defaults

daily high/low by session, session range by weekday, and session volume by weekday use all three sessions by default: market session breakout and market session correlation reports default to London as session1_ and New York as session2_. asian range breakout by extension defaults to Asia as session1_ and New York as session2_. any explicitly supplied session parameter overrides its default.

CPI reaction defaults

the CPI reaction report defaults to the initial 15-minute post-release window, 08:30:00 through 08:45:00, interpreted in the request timezone. performance defaults to open, matching the web report’s open-to-close calculation.

daily-session presets

daily-session presets are useful when a daily report supports optional custom-session aggregation. they are not an automatic fallback for single-session intraday endpoints.
